Although it's free and works well, the sheet isn't great. The sheet is updated on a scheduled basis or according to changes made to it. Formula references can be difficult to modify. It is not the best, but it does what I need. Although I struggled to use some of the features, it is easy enough to quickly make changes or updates. It is great for updating records quickly at swimming meets.
I use it when I need to make changes between classes. It is great for teachers who travel to different classrooms. This has some limitations compared with the options available on a laptop, desktop or chromebook. This "this app might not be optimized to your device" is very annoying. The app works well on all other devices except this.

The software is up to date and it has excellent signal. It crashes frequently, freezes, freezes, and doesn't update.

The interface is easy to use and gives off a professional appearance. You can save automatically, which makes it even more awesome. This is a remarkable similarity to Excel. But it has so many features, and it's FREE! It is amazing. Google Sheets would be four stars if it was free. I am not holding my breath that such things will be ever implemented. The option to text CLippign is available on desktop but it's not available on mobile/tablet. Wrapping allows me to expand the cells in unreadable proportions if there are things I need that overlap with other cells. You can use it to clip text, format cells just for Text, Integers or both. I don't know what the problem is.Īlthough it's fine, there are some functions that could make my editing of spreadsheets much easier. It also chooses between alphabetic and numeric keyboards for each cell. It would be nice if it didn't change the order in which the options are displayed in context menus. I was impressed at the way they translated spreadsheets into the mobile experience. The second issue I have is the inability to open the same sheet from two different windows. It is not clear if this is something I have overlooked, but the option to format numbers cannot be found anywhere. The basic functions of the program aren't available (and they don't come easily). It makes sense that it can be used with all other Google products. However, it is unfair to maintain a rating of one.

This issue will be fixed in an update and I'll rate it a 5 Update: I still have the same issue as many others. The app is great, however I wish I could add background images to the app like in Excel.

I was very upset at Google because it didn't know how to save a PDF. My sheets were completely rewritten, the file was corrupted, then my phone crashed. After trying to save the sheet as a PDF, I lost literally hours of work. This app is useful for simple tasks, but it doesn't allow you to function at a higher level.
